Research Activities

Currently elucidating differential DNA methylation from Tuberculosis patient samples to determine epigenetic risk factors that contribute to TB progression 

Techniques/Expertise

  • Culture propagation and maintainance (bacterial, algae, malaria, tuberculosis, monocytes, macrophages)
  • Human monocyte isolation
  • DNA, RNA and protein extraction and purification 
  • Western blotting, qPCR, multiplex assays, ELISA, ChIP
  • Bioinformatic Analyses using R, CWL, and Linux
