Research Activities

Currently, I am working on developing a single-domain antibody (sdAb) to specifically bind and activate Mucosal Associated Invariant T (MAIT) Cells. This includes both the design, generation, and validation of the novel agonist, as well as the application of this sdAb in the context of cancer immunotherapy

Techniques/Expertise

Given the nature of my project, i wam invested in both protein biochemistry and cellular immunology. I regularly perform protein expression, purification, and validation both quantitatively with techniques such as biolayer interferometry, and qualitatively with techniques such as SDS-PAGE. Likewise, I have experience in cell culture; T cell activation and proliferation assays both in vitro and in vivo; flow cytometry, and co-culture killing assays.
